We are open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Saturday clinic is open 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon, for urgent care – no appointment necessary.
The Lab is open 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday.
Our Walk-In Clinic is for urgent care needs and is available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 9 a.m., 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., and 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. No appointment is necessary to be seen in the Walk-In Clinic for urgent care issues.
A physician is available for emergencies at all times. During office hours, please call our office and one of our nurses will assist you. After office hours and on weekends, please call 785-229-8300, and your message will be relayed to the physician on call.
When you call for an appointment, you will be seen as soon as possible. The front office staff will collect as much information as possible at that time.
If you are going to be late or need to cancel your appointment, please call our office as soon as possible. Our physicians strive to be on time for all scheduled appointments; however, delays may occur due to unforeseen hospital or office emergencies.
Please let the front desk staff know if you have waited more than 30 minutes in the waiting area for your appointment.
A nurse is available to answer your questions Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some calls after 3 p.m. may not be addressed until the following business day.
Please call your pharmacist to request a prescription refill or authorization. Your pharmacist will call or fax the request to our office within 24 hours for processing. The doctor on call cannot refill your prescriptions on weekends.
The Office Visit
You will be asked to show your insurance card at each visit and verify your address and phone number. You may also be asked to complete medical history and/or patient information forms. Please bring a list of your medications and dosages (including over-the-counter medications) to every physician visit.
You are required to pay your co-pay, deductibles, and any previous balances when services are rendered. You may use your personal check, cash, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Visa, or debit card.
We participate in most insurance plans, including Medicare. If you are not insured with a plan that we are contracted with, or if you do not have health insurance, you will be required to pay in full for your services at the time of visit. We will then apply a 20% discount for that visit.
If your visit is due to an accident or injury, please let us know at the time of the visit.
We will submit your claims and assist you in any way we reasonably can to help get your claims paid. Please be aware that the balance of your claim is your responsibility whether or not your insurance company pays your claim. If your insurance changes, please notify us before your next visit so that we can make the appropriate changes to help you receive your maximum benefits.
You will receive a statement from us once a month informing you of any balance due. Please verify the correct services were billed. Payment is expected within 30 days of the time of service. Payments can also be made on online. If you have any questions or need to make payment arrangements, please call our Business Office. Delinquent payment of services could result in termination of the patient/physician relationship and/or having your account sent to a collection agency.
If we receive a returned check, a collection effort will be made to the responsible party or to the financial institution listed on the check. A returned check fee of $30 will be added to your account.
You may be asked to talk to the Business Office prior to making your appointment if we have questions regarding your account.
Refunds will be made on a regular basis for accounts that have been overpaid.
We are required to inform patients of those services outside of Medicare coverage. You will be asked to sign the ABN (Advance Beneficiary Notice) if your physician orders any lab tests and/or services that Medicare does not cover. This may be due to a specific time requirement and/or diagnosis.
